Although I have read all of Jane Austen's novels (some several times), Persuasion stands out in a special class... darker, slower, deeper. I will have to re-read it as soon as I can find my copy. I sure understand about clutter!
Guess I'll have to get that one and read it, as for some reason, I didn't know it...
And I got that answer once - along with a couple of others!
